Rates
$135 - $165 per 50-minute session
A session is generally 50 minutes in length with 10 minutes for record keeping. EMDR sessions are generally 90 minutes. Longer sessions are charged at a prorated fee. Mileage for driving any extra miles out of my normal commute to your home or the location of the therapy is $ .50 per mile. Mileage is not charged for clients paying the full standard fee, unless travel goes beyond 20 miles.
I believe that quality healthcare should be available to everyone. In keeping with this belief, a sliding fee scale is provided for clients who may be unable to pay the full fee as well as discount pricing for purchasing more than one session at a time.
Insurance
Although I am not on any insurance service panels, services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
I will supply reciepts for our sessions that you may use for reimbursement by your insurance company if you are covered for treatment by an outside provider.
Payment
Cash, check and most major credit cards accepted for payment.
Credit Card paments are processed through Paypal and for most payments, will incur a 2.9% Paypal service fee.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
Reduced Fee:
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.
- Some proof of gross annual income may be required to be placed on the sliding fee scale.
- Should your financial situation improve, I would encourage you to remunerate the remainder of your fee. This will allow me to continue to serve everyone in the best possible way regardless of financial situations.

Any prepaid but unused sessions are refundable based on a prorated schedule. For example if a client buys 6, 50-minute, sessions for $810 but only uses three, the fee is prorated according to the 3-session package of $427.50 and the balance of $240 is returned. In all cases of unused sessions, a minimum amount of 1 session's fee is charged.
